About This Spot
A population of 600-1,000 dugongs lives in the seagrass shallows of Moreton Bay, the southernmost limit of their east-coast range and the largest dugong population so close to a major city (Brisbane). Best seen on eco-cruises from Tangalooma Island Resort. Watching only — no swim-with.
