Up to 60,000 belugas gather in western Hudson Bay every summer, with around 3,000-4,000 entering the warmer waters of the Churchill River estuary to feed, calve and socialize from mid-June to mid-September. Activities include zodiac tours, kayaking, paddleboarding, and the unique AquaGliding™ experience (lying on a floating board towed behind a boat). Traditional snorkeling is restricted by Canadian DFO regulations.
