About This Spot
The 110 m wreck of the SS Yongala, sunk in 1911 off Townsville, is often listed among the top wrecks in the world. Occasional sightings of both bowmouth guitarfish and whitespotted wedgefish, alongside bull sharks, giant groupers and sea snakes. Advanced divers only due to currents and depth.
