A marine reserve off Byron Bay where the whitespotted wedgefish (Rhynchobatus australiae) gathers in good numbers during the austral summer, likely for breeding. Bowmouth guitarfish sightings are rare but documented. The site is also famous for leopard sharks and grey nurse sharks.
