Fauneya

Dry deciduous forest near the Avenue of the Baobabs, Kirindy is the only place on Earth to see Madame Berthe's mouse lemur — the world's smallest primate at just 9 cm long and 30 g. Also present are Verreaux's sifaka, red-fronted brown lemur, and the fossa — Madagascar's largest predator, a mongoose-relative shaped like a cat, most visible during its October-November breeding season. Night walks are essential for nocturnal species. Combines well with a visit to the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs at sunset.
