Fauneya

Madagascar's most accessible and biodiverse lemur park, four hours east of Antananarivo. Eleven lemur species live here, including the striking diademed sifaka, black-and-white ruffed lemur, common brown, grey bamboo and woolly lemurs. The legendary indri — the largest living lemur, famous for its haunting whale-song calls — also inhabits the park but is covered in its own dedicated entry. Night walks reveal the woolly lemur, sportive lemur, dwarf lemur and Goodman's mouse lemur. Peak activity during spring and summer (September-March).
