Home to around two-thirds of the world's greater one-horned rhinos (the Asian 'unicorn rhino'), with 2,600+ individuals. Sightings are virtually guaranteed from jeep or elephant-back safaris on the Brahmaputra floodplain. Open November to April only — monsoon floods close the park. A major conservation success story for Asia.
