During the dry season, Tarangire hosts one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania, with herds of 300+ drinking at the Tarangire River and foraging beneath iconic baobab trees. A frequent add-on to the classic northern circuit (Serengeti + Ngorongoro).
