Central African Rep.
Untamed rivers and forest songs, June to September dries the path for bold travelers
01 · Overview
The best time to visit the Central African Republic is between December and February, when savanna wilds and river tales unfold in dry, warm harmony. With temperatures averaging 25°C to 30°C, this dry season is ideal for spotting wildlife in Dzanga-Sangha Reserve, exploring Bangui’s markets, or cruising the Ubangi River. The lack of rain enhances safaris and travel. For a quieter or more affordable trip, try late November or early March, before the wet season.
