Thailand's best known whale shark diving area, centered on Koh Tao's offshore pinnacles such as Chumphon Pinnacle and Southwest Pinnacle. Sightings are seasonal and less predictable than the major aggregation hotspots, with the best chances usually in March to May and again in September to October.
