Offshore reef 8 km from Shelly Beach where hundreds of scalloped hammerheads school in summer on the Southern Pinnacles. Aliwal Shoal (70 km north, near Umkomaas) also records occasional hammerhead sightings on deeper sites. Advanced divers only.
