The world-famous Eagle Ray Alley, on Cozumel's north wall, hosts schools of 20 to 50 large adult spotted eagle rays during their mating season. Strong currents and 20 m+ depths limit the dive to advanced divers. Nearby, the C-58 wreck off Cancun and Isla Mujeres sees similar schools almost year-round.
