Volcanoes National Park is Rwanda's flagship mountain gorilla experience, with habituated families tracked daily by rangers. Gorilla trekking works year-round, but the driest and most comfortable conditions are usually in June to September and again in December to February, while November to May is officially treated as the low season for permits.
