Nepal's low-lying Terai region harbours Bengal tigers in the dense grasslands of Bardia and Chitwan. Less crowded than India's parks but with lower sighting rates. Bardia is the wilder option and offers walking safaris (on-foot tracking with experienced guides), a rare privilege.
