Often called the 'Poor Man's Galapagos', this small Pacific island off Puerto Lopez hosts the largest known oceanic manta ray population on Earth, with over 22,000 individuals identified. One of the largest mantas ever measured (7 m / 23 ft wingspan) was recorded here. Peak aggregation August-September.
